You've turned CSS off in your browser, or your browser doesn't comply with the CSS2 standard. No one likes to be lectured on their choice of browser--trust me, I know, I'm a Mac user. But if your browser is CSS-impaired, well, there are several standard-compliant browsers out there (I recommend Mozilla or Opera, for all operating systems). You might benefit from an upgrade. The choice is yours.
Hire Me: Intro
I design, redesign, and maintain high profile, heavily trafficked web sites for my employer. I chart navigation schemes, code HTML, edit and organize content, debug, create and edit graphics, manage projects, and direct other employees. I do this every week day, 40+ hours a week, all year long (except on certain holidays and vacations, of course). I do so much daily web design, you'd think I'd be sick and tired of it by now. You'd think I'd flip some magical "Web Design Mode OFF" switch the second I leave my office and never touch HTML in my spare time. You'd think I'd want a break from it all at the end of the day.
Truth be told, I do want a break.
And yet I can't treat web design as if it's an obligation, as if it's just something I do to pay the rent. It's not. It's something I enjoy doing. I just really like designing web sites and graphics.
That's why I'm offering my services on a limited consultant basis. I'm sure you don't like surprises when it comes to pricing any more than I do, so here's the skinny:
My consultant rate is $100.00 (US Dollars) per hour. Minimum charge is $50.00. A 50% deposit is required upfront; the remaining 50% is due when your project's done.
I can't take on every project request I receive; for that I apologize in advance. The project requests I do accept will receive the same skill and dedication as my employer's projects.
